The massive limestone quarry near Coedpoeth and Minera has one superb wall of good rock chracterised by a flowstone feature on its left edge.

The quarry and surrounding areas have recently in early 2018 been aquired by the North Wales Wildlife Trust. This may affect access for climbing and concerns have already been raised by turstees of the Wildlife Trust rgearding liability, bolting and possible disturbance to nesting birds. Be aware that acess could be sensitive at the moment until a more formal access agreement is in place.
|Really good crag with some very pleasant routes. Surprised it isn't more popular.|

|Some of the bolts seem very unusual: the eyes are far narrower than the Staples and Eco-bolts used elsewhere in the U.K. Does anyone have any information on the manufacturer and strength rating for these bolts?|
