Situated under the Craig Laggan cliff with several trad lines. ( Craig Laggan Trad ) however this page has been set up to separate the climbing out.
Boulders all cleaned in late 2022 - Sunny and scenic with difficulties of f4 to f7B, there is something for most climbers to enjoy and hopefully more lines can be discovered.
We have gathered info from our time in 2022 and from previous climbers to have explored Craig Laggan over the years.
Parking space for several cars if neatly parked. ( 56.552196576542165, -3.6365361095986906 )
Update 24th June 2023 - Lodge and stable owners have requested that access is via the main Kennacoil tarmac driveway opposite parking (not through the fields). There are horses on the premises/fields that panic at the sight of people with mats on their back. If you encounter horses on the driveway or approach to the crag or boulders, please stop and put it down flat and allow the horses to pass before carrying on.
Be courteous of any lodges as owners are currently friendly.
None at this time however access is across private land so be courteous.
It's a shame I didn;t keep a copy of the old Scottishbouldering.co.uk website that I made many, mnay years ago (probably 17 years!) which documented many of the boulders around here when we first developed some of them. Alasdair Fulton - 27/Apr/23 |
