One route can be climbed on a toprope. Good anchors at the top; quite fun to attempt with ice axes because of small pockets but watch out for loose rock - big chunks can break off and they hurt. Plenty of long slings are useful
Park in the viewpoint on the top of portsdown hill. From here you can walk down to left and there is an old chalk quarry in the trees.
