From the refuge Albert 1er, follow cairned trails behind the hut to eventually meet the right bank of the tour glacier, heading towards the Col Supérieur du Tour, by going around the Signal Reilly to the right. After passing the Col, cross down and along the glacier skirting the Aiguille Purtscheller on your left. Reaching a small flat area under the East side of the Aiguille du Tour. Head left up a small pass to gain the South Ridge. Follow this in a North-West direction for low-level climbing and scrambling to gain the summit.
