Rockfax Description
This route follows the original line, from when the tube extended all the way to the next level. Follow Pruning the Tube to the bolt at ankle height, then continue along the rising break-line past another bolt. Carry on along the break, clipping a bolt just before the top, and climb up onto the next level. © Rockfax

βeta: Both my partner and I stood on small holds that snapped off. Perhaps this route doesn't get anywhere near the traffic the previous routes do?

RockPhoenix 18 Nov, 2019 Lead O/S For such a long traverse with just one bolt after the rusty spike, followed by brittle holds on the final section, the E3 grade is definitely right in my book. The actual moves were not really hard thank goodness so I think the grade is spot on

oliver_tippett 10 Nov, 2019 Lead O/S Good route. Wobbly holds added to the experience. Technically my first E3, but very easy and practically a sport route. Felt like an over-bolted Verdon 6a.

jrobinson 10 Sep, 2019 Lead O/S Thought the route deserves more than one star, an enjoyable if not run-out traverse. I feel the rockfax guide accurately captures the correct line, but when on the route it's obvious where you should go due to a lack of holds. None of of moves are particularly difficult 6a-ish and the exposure towards the end gives an great airy feeling. There are a couple of small loose holds near the last bolt but these are quite obvious.
