Rockfax Description
The Australia section tackles the wide open base before coming round onto the East Face. Here two tiers of ladders lead up to the Pen Garret Hut.
1) Go through the Tunnel of Love from the California section which exits at the base of Australia under the route Darkness Visible.
2) Scramble across the base and to the left of the Rognon to arrive at the Salt Pans.
3) Head right towards the left side of the East Face of Australia to an iron ladder.
4) Climb this, head right to the next ladder and then up this to the Pen Garret Hut.
