βeta: Top pitch only, using the link up traverse from the top of Howhard, to retrieve a big blue cam I accidentally left at the belay last week! Makes a brilliant route as an alternative to 'Brambles....' Jackdaw nest in hue near top has 4 chicks in it. Abseil from chain with shackle is fine with 60m ropes but a struggle to keep left to bags. Better post is further along for a more direct ab. | βeta?

βeta: Lead as 2 pitches split on big ledge with pegs. Felt very ‘trad’ with a bit of mild gardening and tricky-to-find protection. Long balancy wall climbing on P1 was enjoyable but could be felt quite hard if this was a first HVS! P2 top crack is superb and well protected, saving the crux for the last move. | βeta?
