TO PRESERVE ACCESS follow the approach instructions above - DO NOT PARK IN ESTATE FIELD ENTRANCES/GATEWAYS
** There is a voluntary climbing ban during the shooting season 1st Oct - 1st Feb. While this is not legally enforceable under Scottish Land Rights Act (walking is still permitted along the paths), it is strongly encouraged to keep a good relationship with the estate, who are currently very accommodating of the bolting and climbing in the Heughs. **

βeta: The crux is at the start of the route going from the 1st to the 2nd draw. Committing move. Small sharp holds. Get through that and the rest of the route is an easy 6b with jugs the rest of the way

βeta: Seemed more like a 6a+. Much easier than Pond life - have the grades been confused? | βeta?

βeta: Jumped on this thinking it was the 6A+ and thought it was stiff. Now I know it is the 6B+ line, the 6B+ grade sounds about right. Sadly the top was absolutely soaking so zero grip. Deployed the clip stick to finish... A good interesting route though. Rock seems fairly solid by balgone heughs standards! :) | βeta?
