20m. The inland of the two islands is only actually an island at the highest of tides and large swells, therefore it is easily accessible.
From the coast path take the path down to the Cove using the rope and then the larger pirates rope. Boulder hop to the ‘island’ and walk up it’s ridge. There are anchors to be found with a bit of imagination. Abseil in from them if the tide is high.
The arête that is approximately in the centre of the seaward face of the island and directly opposite the northern tip of the other island.
After reaching the top of the main rock it can be continued on the short overhanging bluff above but the rock is even more friable and the exit poor.
