Rockfax Description
A long and difficult traverse that uses The Great Escape to start.
1) 6c, 15m. From the hanging stance on the pocketed wall above the roof (reached via by abseil), traverse left along the lip to another hanging stance.
2) 7b, 15m. Head left and down until moves past an arete access some strenuous climbing that leads to a hanging belay overlooking a cave.
3) 7b, 15m. Make a very pumpy traverse across the cave lip to reach the wall beyond. Continue horizontally across the wall to a bolted belay.
4) 6a+, 15m. Continue traversing left to, and over another cave, and then more easily on a rising line to finish at a large ledge. © Rockfax

βeta: The last pitch is excellent. Ab down from the block wall to the belay stance on the wall of Crocker's solos. Goes along the wall, into the corner and across the far wall before topping out on the ledge. Really good fun. | βeta? | |
