βeta: Pitch 1 reaches the grassy handrail mentioned in the SMC Vein Rouge description after c35m. (Strangely Raspberry Ripple description doesn’t mention this handrail.) Best to cross this and move 5m higher to the final oasis of vegetation before the upper slab. Good belays here at small ledge. This leaves pitch 2 as 50m to belay under the upper overlap at the top of the pitch. Grassy scramble (roped) to descent path from here in 25m. | βeta? | |
