βeta: Think this can be done in 6 pitches with a 60m rope. 1. Initial easy ramp. 2. Slant R up easy corner. 3. Crux chimney (good belay a few metres above where the climbing eases, possible to rig it so you’ve got good vis of the crux). 4. A few metres along the ramp then long rising traverse to below the Battlements Groove (might need a few metres of moving together or belay a few metres before the short steep step that leads to the first section of the groove). 5. To the top of the Battlements Groove. 6. To the top of the wide chimney, from where it’s a short easy scramble / walk to the top. | βeta? | |
