Please refrain from climbing outside

Due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19, please abstain from climbing outside.

At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving, but we feel this is no longer socially acceptable. You can read our statement here.

We have suspended the UKC Logbooks Top Ascents and Conditions pages and we will no longer accept ascents dated from 23rd March onwards. You can still upload your historic ascents.

mim tiller 15 Nov, 2019 AltLd Lead 2 & 4. Was just topping out the overhang on the last pitch when the rock my axe was behind broke off and I fell dropping my axe. I gave it another go with Andy’s axe and another block came off, but this time I managed to stay on and top out. Overall was a great route nonetheless

jameshiggins 2 Feb, 2013 AltLd O/S Whilst all pitches had received 1st ascents by others, this was the first time they had been linked to give a fine direct start to Avenging Angel. Fantastic!

Neil Adams 2 Feb, 2013 AltLd O/S Brilliant route. Jim got the bold first pitch, I got the offwidth corner (P2), Jim got the steep corner/groove (P3) and I got the very steep top wall. Really varied, definitely 3 stars!
