Rockfax Description
230m. The slabby north-west face looking down the Allt a' Mhuilinn is composed of clean, rough and friendly rock that dries fairly rapidly after rain.
The arête on the left side of the face provides one of the cleanest Severes on The Ben. A superb route that makes a good direct start to North-East Buttress.
1. 20m Start at the lowest rocks directly under the arête. Climb up to a black overhang, turn it on the right, and reach a grass ledge.
2. 35m Follow the arête above to a stance.
3. 40m Traverse right for 6m, then climb up to regain the arête at the earliest opportunity.
4 to 6. 135m Follow the arête, with minor deviations, to the First Platform.
