Covid-19

At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving. Please proceed with caution though.

38m. One of Devon’s finest. Now fully bolted—it takes a stupendous line up the exposed white pillar. The climbing is balancy and nervy and subsequently may not feel a pushover at the grade.
Follow the bolts up the face of the pillar making a detour onto the right arête from bolts 6 to 8 (7 is a scary clip from the side). Continue, trending left then back right to a thin move at a borehole, followed immediately by sensationally exposed crux on the right arête. Double bolt lower off - a 70 metre rope should (only just) be enough to lower off but tie a knot in the end and be very careful!

Brian H 3 Oct, 2017 Lead O/S Brilliant! The impending top section of the pillar looks daunting from below but surprisingly it isn't too pumpy and the positions are fantastic.
