Bowles is owned by the Bowles Rocks Trust (a non-profit making charity) and run as an outdoor education centre providing instructional courses as well as allowing members of the public to climb for a fee. All details aroud public access for climbing can be found on the Bowles Rocks website.
Rockfax Description
A classic that follows the vague crack system to the upper slab with a tricky mantel onto the ledge. The super steep upper wall has some surprisingly welcome jugs and an exciting top-out, which is easier once you know where the good holds are. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Climb the groove about 2.5 metres right of the groove of Funnel directly. Top out on the ledge then climb straight up the front of the block above the ledge. Quite nice.
Wandering up the slab to the left of the start reduces the grade and enjoyment!
