Restricted Access

Anyone climbing in the quarry does so at their own risk. The landowner wants to make visiting climbers aware that this is a quarry with the associated dangers that come with it - in particular the potential for loose rock.

Access is permitted to experienced recreational climbers on the following conditions and continued access is reliant on climbers respecting them:

  • No children
  • No novices
  • No instructed groups
  • Publication of guidebook information should be with the permission of the landowner.
30m. Start from the large blocks at the top of the small scree slope to the right of the main crag area (as you approach the crag). Climb from the blocks to a short slab, ascend the short wall to the left of this slab to gain a rightward slanting groove. Follow the groove to it's end when the route then ascends a slab towards a large 'hanging' block - which looks dodgy but proves to be sound! Bolt belay on a large ledge above the block.
