βeta: The best approach is to head up to the base of Zed Buttress and skirt round its right side then continue up until you can cut left following a vague path until below the steep ground under the crag. It’s best to keep walking past the crag towards the big buttress of ‘The Needle’ before turning back on yourself and up the heather to the base. | βeta? | |
