Rockfax Description
70m. The arête of the Naked Ape slab requires as many micro-wires as you can carry.
1. 15m 5b Climb a shallow groove right of Naked Ape to a small ledge.
2. 40m 6b Climb the groove above (peg) to a wide flake. This leads to a traverse right along a horizontal break to the base of the arête. Committing moves up the right side of the arête gains a sloping shelf. The thin, hard, right-hand crack gains a good hold, then move up left to join Naked Ape. Follow this up right to the arête (micro-wires). Where that route traverses right, ascend the hanging groove above that exits onto a slab and belay under the roof at the right end.
3. 15m 6a Follow Naked Ape left, through the roof and final overhanging crack to the abseil point.
