This is the direct start to 'School Bus Arete'. Start a few feet left of the toe of the buttress directly below the bolt which gives this route it's name. This one bolt variation provides some steep and more interesting moves to catch the School Bus which has been improved recently with repositioned bolts on the arete and a new double resin lower-off. (As you clip the bolt you might spare a thought for the late great Colin Goodey as this was indeed his last bolt to find it's way into the quarries, it being a recent find in his garage by Mrs G).
