Rockfax Description
A great scramble up the sunny south face of the mountain with an excellent outlook. The scrambling is generally easy and any difficulty is mostly avoidable apart from one long and exposed step at the top of the ridge.
1) The ridge curves up and to the right towards the summit. Follow this as directly as you want, with occasional easy steps, until the scrambling gets a little harder towards the top.
2) The final step is easy but quite exposed. If too exposed then easier terrain can be found to the left of the crest.

UKC Logbook Description
The route begins by Llyn y Foel to the east of Moel Siabod's summit. If approaching by the miners' track from Pont Cyfyng (A5) the bog by Llyn y Foel can be avoided by walking further up to the back of the cwm and taking a convenient terrace around to the start of the ridge. All difficulties can be avoided by a path or deviations, but a lot of scrambling can be had by seeking out the best rock. The ridge emerges by the trig point.
