βeta: The hold loss mentioned on 7 Jun should not make a lot of difference as it wasn't used or deemed necessary on the first ascent. Should of knocked off in hindsight. Glad no one was hurt.

βeta: The top bulge is now slightly harder following hold loss today. The good crimp/foot on the lip, level with last clip, came off as a 6 x 4 inch block. It’s at the base of the route should it need glueing back. We both RP’d it following hold loss …no loss in quality or change in grade.

βeta: Not terribly independent at the start but arguably a better set of moves. It's clear the original didn't go over the roof as this is the crux and only made possible at the grade by the discovery of a key hold hidden behind a flake of rock removed by hand.
