Rockfax Description
A spectacular route that climbs the exceedingly steep wall to the right of Rhino (i.e. the face of the horn), joining Rhino at the Tidemark ledge. Start just to the right of the initial flake of Rhino.
1) 6b, 25m. Pull up the bulging wall using a hanging flake. Stand on the flake, then move slightly right to some flakes leading up and left to a large hold. Move back right to further flakes and cracks leading to a bulge (level with the grass ledge below the horn of Rhino). Move left on pockets to the ledge.
2) 6b, 20m. Move back right to regain the line and the foot of a slim hanging groove in the edge of the Rhino flake. Climb this to its top then traverse right for a couple of moves along the lip of the wall until a hard pull onto the slab above can be made and the Tidemark ledge gained.
3) 5c, 40m. Climb the top pitch of Rhino via the left-hand start. © Rockfax
