Rockfax Description
A route of two halves; superb crack and face climbing followed by a stiff pull through the roof. Follow the right-hand crack in the flat wall via some good edges until you can make a good move up and right to a crack. Follow this line to a ledge. The wall above has a spooky feel, and starts by taking the thin crack above the ledge. Once committed to the wall, step left to the base of a slender groove and then move back slightly right past a letter box to gain a junction with Sickle at the roof. Arrange gear here and move up and left to a weakness. Now make a stiff pull to an undercut flake. Layback up the right-hand side of the flake to gain easier ground and eventually a spike belay. Abseil descent, or continue up Sickle. © Rockfax
