Park at Loch Lurgainn directly below the West Face and ascend the hillside directly to the Crags.
For Stag wall park at the obvious slab of rock on left. Space for 1/2 cars. After the approach gully to go high cairns mark the traverse left.
Abseil decent for breakaway/breakthrough. New maillon and cord July 2023. Worth taking long spare cord anyway. 50m ropes take you back down to grass on the left just above the cairn at the bottom of the wall and scramble down a few m.
Park at Loch Lurgainn directly below the West Face and ascend the hillside directly to the Crags.
The second, or upper, half of the approach to Lurgainn Slabs is along a deer trod into, and up, the steep gully. If you want a close inspection of the various stages of tick life, this is your destination. liensiwel - 22/Jul/24 |
