18m. Inspired by the Airshow this route weaves and soars its way up the centre of Airshow wall in a mixture of styles and techniques that the climber can display their skill and commitment.
Start near the southern end of the Monolith West Face on the LH side of a 3m pinnacle flake. Climb the left side of the pinnacle to gain and follow the deep crack which runs horizontally rising leftwards till the rock scar beneath the small OH. Pull directly up to gain the large mid height ledge. Take the short corner at the back of the ledge and arrange good large cams in the wide horizontal fracture directly beneath the clean smooth headwall. Using the single and only descent hold, a deep 2 finger pocket, stand in the fracture break, arrange the small gear in the hairline crack that runs up the top half, in the very centre of the white headwall. The mission is to ascend directly reaching the jugs guarding the ledge above but without resorting to flying. Belay in the large ledge above. Exit northwards along the Monolith Ridge.
