Start in the small right facing corner at ground level. Move up in the short corner and up the broken slab to gain the hanging weathered flake. Move up this and then slightly right wards on weathered pocketed rock, following the continuation of the flake crack until reaching good ledges directly above to a position to bisect Cost of Living. Step left in the break and using the sharp arête for the right hand move up the smooth wall trending leftwards following the hairline vertical crack. Make long moves between the breaks above good gear, aiming for the slight groove leading towards the summit tree. Follow this to finish just to the right of the tree. Belay on the summit tree.
