Rockfax Description
A sensational line, which goes directly up the striated wall. Start at a steep line of cracks that lead up to a ledge under the wall. Climb the steep cracks to a ledge (junction with Flat Iron Wall). Head up left to meet a thin crack at an overlap. Follow it and the wall above to where it fades before stepping right to a ledge. Step left and take the wall to the top. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
A brilliant route and one of the best E2s in the Lakes - well worth the walk! A steep and slightly butch start leads to the beautiful upper wall which provides contrasting climbing.

βeta: AUG 22 Ab tat is a right mess and any new stuff mentioned below (June 22) is thin cord and a sling that won't last long, a short length of thick static and a knife will sort out the mess, unfortunately we used ours replacing an abseil station elsewhere on the trip. | βeta? | |
