Rockfax Description
A big and committing line that weaves its way up the wall right of Engineer's Slab, with good but spaced gear (except for the initial pitch which is very bold). Start 5m right of the wide crack in the middle of the face.
1) 4c, 16m. A serious pitch with little protection. Move out rightwards to an inset groove. From the top of the groove, climb leftwards to eventually gain a grass ledge and belay.
2) 5c, 20m. Move left and up before heading rightwards to meet the left end of a right-leading overlap. Follow the overlap to near its end then pass it to gain a tiny ledge - difficult. Step right to a crack and follow it past an overhang to a good ledge and belay. Moving right above the overlap to the tiny ledge is also possible.
3) 5a, 28m. Follow cracks up and then left into a final narrow groove/corner that leads to the top. This pitch can get dirty. © Rockfax
