Rockfax Description
One of the great Lake District VSs, tackling the full height corner where the cliff becomes continuous. Start at the base of the curving corner.
1) 4b, 22m. Climb the curving corner, then head left out across its blank-looking left wall to easier ground and a pedestal stance and belay.
2) 4c, 18m. Move up to a crack and go left to a ledge on the rib. Climb up and traverse right back into the corner. Climb the steep wide crack to a ledge and belay - The Bower.
3) 4c, 20m. Climb the sustained crack to the top. © Rockfax
