The direct start to Dolmen Ridge adds a little more difficult climbing before reaching the main buttress. Start just to the left of West Gully.1) Move up and left through broken, rocky and grassy ground to reach a grassy bay below the steep twin-pinnacled tower.2) From the bay to the right, step up onto a ledge below the pinnacles. A hard and committing pull up on positive holds leads to a sloping platform. 3) Cross the sloping grassy and quartz bay to the bottom right edge of Dolmen Buttress above you. 4) Move right into West Gully and then head up to gain the line of Dolmen Ridge. © Rockfax
