Rockfax Description
Intricate and sustained - not one to rush. Start just left of the corner of Praying Mantis where a horizontal break leads out to the front of the undercut buttress.
1) 5c, 28m. Traverse out to the edge of the buttress and move up to a scoop (tree just up right). Move leftwards past two thin cracks and up to a small roof. Climb the slim line of weakness above (peg) to a thin traverse leading right to a groove in the rib. Follow this to the tree and stance of Praying Mantis.
2) 5b, 30m. Climb the ramp above to its end (shared with Praying Mantis) and follow the groove above to meet the traverse of Praying Mantis. Continue up until exposed moves left around the arete gain a slab. Finish up the slab. © Rockfax
