Rockfax Description
The series of grooves in the back of the bay are unfortunately grassy and often damp. Scramble up to the base of the groove.
1) 4b, 17m. The groove leads to a good stance.
2) 4c, 13m. Climb the overhanging crack to the next belay.
3) 5b, 35m. Climb the overhanging groove until the angle eases below an overhang. Turn this on the left and go up to belay on the ledge above.
4) Scramble off leftwards. © Rockfax
UKC Logbook Description
Climbs the right corner of shag rock. Better to do the first two pitches together then the top pitch on one log run out. Not as bad as the guide suggests. Main pitch is good fun

βeta: Very good route, top end E1 but the main pitch was damp so made it feel harder, certainly quite a hard pitch with just about enough gear, pitch 1 &2 could be done together, worth 2 stars | βeta? | |
