Rockfax Description
One of the very best multi-pitch adventure routes in Yorkshire. 1) 6b, 20m. Ascend carefully up the corner to the roof, traverse delicately left then climb the shallow groove. Belay at the top of the groove. 2) 4m. Move 4m right to a double bolt stance. 3) 6b, 16m. Powerful undercutting becomes wild laybacking then tackle the stubborn overlap to reach an airy stance to the right on a ledge. 4) 6a, 15m. Hard moves gain the groove, continue until moves up and left lead to easier ground and a tree belay. © Rockfax
