Birds: Beware of, and avoid, angry Herring gulls nesting on common exit to Airegin, Ostrichism etc. nest can easily be checked from the crag top (28 May 2016). May be a one-off nest, maybe not, please be considerate to the nesting birds and also be aware bird spotters regularly frequent the area.

Nest was there in 2019 as well, and another one at the top of the Aiguille. Both avoidable with care.

2024 - Nest is there, 3 large fluffy chicks. Groovin high is fine but routes to the right not.

Left of Gobbledygook is an innocuous hanging crack in the arete. Climb the lower wall direct to the crack. Powerful laybacking leads to an easier finish.
