The impressive arete in the upper tier reached by walking up the ramp opposite the main wall. Start behind an elder-bush and climb a thin crack to reach the base of the arete which is climbed direct. Originally climbed on the left side at the top but was also climbed (trad) on the right at the same grade. Retrobolts have since been (badly) placed on the right side which can now be climbed more easily at f6a, this poor addition (the whinger)is not an independent route apart from the big excavated ledges at the start - which are about HS.
