UKC Logbook - 'The French Connection'

60m, 2 pitches. A traverse of the main wall, starting from Lost Monolith and finishing up Say It With Flowers. Detailed in BMC '86 Stoney guide, originally E4 6a. Since all routes it crosses are now fully bolted it is a bit easier than when done originally, about E3 6a. An alternative is to continue the traverse beyond Say It With Flowers into Leading Line (at the time of the original this was an uncleaned area of rock) - slightly harder, this is the crux pitch of The Monster Traverse (then a further pitch continues to Pale Rider and maximises nuisance caused to other climbers).
