Beckside bouldering. © Fraser Corrie
A small circuit of boulders in the 6a-7b range, the majority of the climbing is on water-flown slopers in a peaceful (yet road-side) setting. Topo available on the Lakes Bloc website.
Turn off the A595 onto the Corney Fell road and continue for ~1.3 miles until you cross a cattle grid as the road leads out of the trees and onto the fell. Park here (sensibly) and walk back across the cattle grid and down the road into the trees, you will hear Logan Beck roaring to your left. Soon you will reach a step down in the wall next to a telegraph pole, cross here and carefully walk down the slope towards the beck where you will arrive above the Haste boulder. Topo available on the Lakes Bloc website.
