24m. The first pitch of a 1969 two pitch excursion, now more appropriately described as two separate climbs.
This first pitch was given a harder, direct start in 1989. It comprises a succession of harder sequences between resting ledges with spaced protection from four pegs, several micros, a small cam and a couple of mid. sized walnuts higher up. Great (2**) slab climbing, but requiring 'a certain cool' (as the FA might say) on a couple of exciting run-outs.
Well worth an ascent after a little pre-inspection if you don't fancy the on-sight.
