βeta: Interesting to note that some comments think GG overgraded at VS 4b. We climb a lot of slabby routes at HS to HVS and felt GG to be VS 4c, and high in the grade. There is not a lot of gear when you would like it and the final groove had one low nut. Perhaps I just didn't see or couldn't reach better holds / gear. Anyways, a brilliant climb, as thrilling as Scorpion at Tynrich, just more run-out, delicate and technically devious. The 9 hour drive felt worth it. | βeta? | |
