UKC Logbook Description
No protection and a single bolt belay with mallion. Why is it called Tragedy??!!

It is called Tragedy because of Bob Powles. He was checking out new routes at the crag and slipped over the top, and sadly died. Roy Thomas exploring the crag found the body a few days later. Hence the morbid theme of some of the original routes (A Certain Peace, Tragedy etc).

Martin Crocker, R. Thomas.
