A direct standing start to In the Heart of Darkness. Start matched left on the low diagonal undercut. Pull on and make a trick slap into a sloping pocket lock this out and finish as for the original. A sit start is possible but will need some work to sort out the rock.

βeta: As a result of fires I think the rock has changed a lot in this area since this was first climbed. The undercut you pull on with sounds pretty hollow and there is now a sidepull which has appeared above this. A lot of rock has also come away in the area where I would imagine you put your feet to pull on. | βeta? | |
