βeta: 3 Sept Peg fell out again and was not replaced. There was some discussion about this but the climber concerned argued that it was better to remove it so people knew exactly what they were taking on rather than have leaders committing to a piece they may not realise was untrustworthy. The section could still be protected by wires or small cams - if you are carrying them!
