Rockfax Description
The easiest of the big wall climbs this side of Parete Nord. Great climbing up steep rock with some wide off-width, chimney and dihedral sections along the way. The first four pitches are particularly steep with P3 and P4 offering some interesting and stimulating exposure. Some re-equipping has been done and the start is identifiable by the line of shiny staples that lead the way. Worth around E3/4.

βeta: Fabulous climb. Steep & sustained pitches. Worth 6C. Possibly the best route we did on an 8 day trip. We took a medium / lightish rack to plug the gaps and it was perfect. Shiny new bolts and double bolted belays sped things up. Take care with the walk off as it’s not a clear path. Head off to the right a bit further than you think and down. | βeta? | |
