βeta: For the abseil descent from the continuation scramble, in the bay there is an abseil point on both the left and right of the bay. The abseil point on the north end (left when facing out) is a bolt behind trees but has an intermediate station so can be done with two 20m abseils. The abseil on the south end (right when facing out) has two points close by; one bolt double bolt station on the wall, and slightly to the left (when facing out) an abseil off a tree, backed up by ropes to a second tree. However, there is no intermediate station so requires a 40m abseil. When you enter the bay the vague path initially crosses over towards an orange wall on the north side, but then appears to turn right and traverse scree to the bottom right/south corner. This corner is marked by a cairn. However, this is the station requiring a 40m abseil, which is where we messed up as we only had a 60m rope so I was expecting to find the intermediate station. Fortunately I was able to climb back up and descend the scrambling route (at this stage I didn’t realise that the station I was looking for was on the other side). | βeta?

βeta: Did on 28th November 2023. Be careful to follow yellow dots direct up to start through the woods. Note this VF is all stemples straight up, so its a decent work out, with a couple of ledgy bits late on if you need a rest. I've seen some blog posts about a single 60m dynamic rope with stretch being OK for the abs. Personally, I'd take a 70m rope minimum (& don't use too much rope to tie knots in the end!). Decent 2-3h trip. | βeta?

βeta: On the wall just right of the base of the continuation scramble is some new blue paint and arrows pointing uphill, up the scree saying 'Cima' (summit). These avoid most of the fun scramble and instead take a steep walk up scree then over vegetated slopes to meet the scramble almost at its top, but still below the crux. Odd that anyone would go to the trouble of doing this as the initial part of the scramble is excellent. | βeta?

βeta: Did via ferrata then followed the ridge to the plateaux. Fixed ropes at top of ridge were (still) in good nick. Did the 2nd ab (Info Board says 35m) with doubled 60m rope without any drama. Excellent day.
