Crag features

Three tidal caves of various rock types. Two of the caves have a flat sandy landing whilst the largest one is a little more rocky. Seepage can be an issue over the winter months so it is best left for a dry period in the late spring and summer months. As with other beach areas, changes in sand levels can affect the problems.

Approach notes

Park at porth dafach. Follow the coastal path north over the stepped wall and through two kissing gates. Approximately 50m after the second gate a narrow track breaks of left to the cliff top. Descend the ramp on the left ( can be wet ) onto the beach and contour round round rightward until a series of three caves are reached.

No Access Issues

Tidal. Can be accessed around two hrs either side of low tide. You can be cut off at this venue so keep an eye out for the tide.
