This mountain holds a prominent position close to the Norwegian-Swedish border, but has a very long approach that either requires a long day or a camp.
South of Hattfjelldal, follow road 804/road 290. Approach by walking to the Tiplingan lakes; the river between the Eastern (Austre) and Western (Vestre) Tiplingan is passable by a footbridge or even by just stepping into it, but expect a wet experience. From here, you will see the mountain towering over a valley on higher groud, in the far distance.
