Rockfax Description
A much longer outing than the rest of the via ferratas in the area. It starts off easily enough with some scrambling up rock and staples to get to the base of the first steep wall.
1) A rising traverse line gets you to an extremely exposed and steep section where the placement of the rungs throw you off balance.
2) A massively exposed traverse left leads to the first terrace.
3) A cable leads you to the base of the next section, where the soil is getting washed away making the footing difficult.
4) Staples lead the way with a few rock holds until you reach the second terrace.
5) The cable continues up and left across this and another couple of steps until it comes to an end where you can pretty much see the descent path.
Descent - From the end of the cables, go up and left along a path to gain a main track that zig-zags down from the col right back to the car park. © Rockfax
