Restricted Access
Ramshaw is home to some of the hardest routes in Britain and most of them are graded HVS - a Yosemite style tape job is the only access requirement! There are no access problems at the main crag. However, do not try and climb at Lady Rock (the buttresses on the far right above the farm house), these are not on access land, the owner lives very close and has been confrontational.

βeta: Sorry to be annoying, but I did this route in April 1997.I`m pretty sure I wrote it up to the new routes people. Here`s the description I wrote in my guidebook anyway: Hey Jude E15C The Friendly but deceptive arete left of Wriggler. Climb the arete to a break, good cams using a foot jam make a long move to the top. I can`t beleive it now gets E4 6b I presumed it had probably been done before me anyway. Sorry | βeta? | |
