Rockfax Description
An excellent route. Climb up the blank-looking wall 2m right of Casket and move right to a ledge. Climb thin cracks leftwards to the tree on Casket, then immediately step back right and climb direct to the top. © Rockfax

βeta: Bold start and micronuts help throughout. Quite hard to find very reliable gear in the middle, too. Felt a bit desperate as a warm-up on a frigid, dank November day, despite having led it a few years back. | βeta?

βeta: Guide book says "well protected" but only really higher on the route. Gear for the first few metres is a bit sparse. | βeta?

βeta: Dont follow thin cracks to the tree on casket. Actually stop going left just before the ledge and go straight up the wall. This is more sustained and is the line the definitive guide too. | βeta?

βeta: Well-protected but fiddly gear, needing a good range and a bit of care. Tough for the grade - or, felt it today at least. One loose "jug" - take care! | βeta?
